A useful baseline
The modular, high-aspect-ratio wing configuration supports studying induced drag, wingtip vortices, and stall behavior. A shared baseline makes differences between simulation approaches easier to examine.
Simulation choices
The workflow considers k-epsilon and k-omega SST turbulence models, alongside mesh refinement around the leading edge, boundary layer, and wing-fuselage junction. The aim is to separate changes caused by the model from changes caused by the mesh.
Designing for the next project
The platform supports a common approach to geometry, boundary conditions, and solver selection. It is a tool for evaluating subsequent aircraft concepts with more consistent assumptions.
